It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Alf Edwin Hartley of Townsend, Georgia, born in Washington, District of Columbia, who passed away on March 1, 2023, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Eugene Boykin Hartley and Iris Jakobb Hartley Lewis; and his brothers, Eugene Davis Hartley (Duke), Laurence A. Hartley (Larrie) and Eric Boykin Hartley.

He is survived by : his wife Sharon Elaine Hartley; his sons, Dustin Alf Hartley, Garrett Boykin Hartley (Kelli) and Vincent Bryan Hartley (Meghan); his stepchildren, Benjamin M. Shaffer (Alisha), Shana J. Warsky (Joel) and Brandi R. Michael (Jordan); and his grandchildren, Hayden Dustin Hartley, Meredith Catherine Hartley, Oliver Bryan Hartley, Ian Jakob Hartley, Jimmy Michael, Jaydon Conner, Kamryn Leah, William Conner and Cali Rose. He is also survived by many loving nephews and nieces.
