She is survived by: her son Mitchell Meeks of Darien; her grandson Taylor Meeks (Brooklyn Lovvorn) of Darien; her brothers, Patrick Bailey of Brunswick and Rufus Bailey of Florida; and her friend Gene Essex of Darien. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
