He is survived by: his wife Janet Barnes McCarty; his children, Karen Parker-Hendricks (Tim) of Hortense and Jeffrey McCarty (Shannon Cook) of Brunswick; his daughter-in-law Treasa McCarty of Allenhurst, GA; his grandchildren, Gregory Wade Parker, II (Christy), Sara Parker (Hunter Dixon), Kayla Grovenor (Earl Jr.), Austin McCarty (Mikayla Washburn), Aiden McCarty, Trinity McCarty and Nathaniel McCarty; and his siblings, Wayne McCarty (Melinda) of Brunswick, Dorothy West of Tifton, Darlene Burton of Cox, GA, Connie Poppell (David) of Cresent, GA and Bonnie Johnson of Darien. He is also survived by seven great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Glynn Baptist Church (981 GA-32, Brunswick, GA 31523). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
