She was predeceased by: her husband James Travis Scott; her sons, Samuel Lee Scott, Travis Wayne Scott and Boyd Erwin Scott; her grandson Nate Johnson; her parents, Bogan Smith and Odessa Smith; and her siblings, Madeline Moore, Barbara Westmoreland, Nancy Sue McKee, Betty Jo Bailey, Darlene Horton, Billie Jean Smith, Bertha Smith, Albert Lester Smith, Jimmy Lee Smith, Joseph Verdel Smith and Terry Wayne Smith.
She is survived by: her children, Sandra Goodman (Steve), Darren Scott and Tara Scott; her siblings, Lucy Hamilton, Stella Mae Ferguson, Delia Ray Bailey and W. J. Smith; and her grandchildren, Anna Dobbins, Brandon Scott, Dustin Scott, Veronica Sears and Zech Clark. She is also survived by ten great-grandchildren; along with several nieces, nephews.
