He was predeceased by: his father Robert "Bug" Gatlin; his wife Beth Gatlin; and his brother Tommy Gatlin. He is survived by: his son Bobby "Cliff" Gatlin (J. P. "Pea-Dab"); his siblings, Smitty Gatlin (Patsy) and Mary Sue Moses; his grandsons, Nick Gatlin (Kara) and Jake Gatlin; and his great grandchildren, Jaxson and Marshall Gatlin. He is also survived by many extended family members and a host of friends.
