She was predeceased by: her parents, Irby Oliver and Elva Malcomb Oliver; her husband Kermit Buffington, Sr.; her siblings, Doris Fuller, Wilda Posey, Willard and Levon Oliver; her great grandchildren, Sydney, Allie and Hattie Rae Rumley; and her son-in-law Michael Frady.
She is survived by: her children, Diane Rumley (Ted), Marsha Allen (Dale), Sharron Frady and Kermit Buffington, Jr. (Amy); her sisters, Rachel Veal and Carol Hawthorne; and her grandchildren, Ted Rumley (Desiree), Dusty Rumley (Jacey), Michael Garner (Hillary), Chris Allen (Meagan), Avery Sexton, Andria Powers (Russ), Cory Durham and Andrew Buffington. She is also survived by 13 great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 19th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Moore Funeral Home - Trenton (11910 S Main St, Trenton, GA 30752). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 19th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, September 19th 2025 at the Baptist Cemetery (13157 S Main St, Trenton, GA 30752).
