It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Janie Pryor of Trenton, Georgia, born in Salem, Florida, who passed away on March 25, 2024, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, J. D. Jackson and Jessie Drigger Jackson; her husband James Pryor; her siblings, Mary Ethel Moore, James Jackson, Ander Jackson, Lester Jackson, Jay Jackson, Gwen Pritchard and Joyce Ann Clemons; and her son-in-law Dewayne Gass.
She is survived by : her children, Brenda Gass, Lisa Godwin (Mark), Buster Pryor (Kellee) and Kenny Pryor (Kandace); her grandchildren, Hank Rumley, Devonna Smartt (Kevin), Tyler Pryor (Crystal), Logan Pryor, Bailey Pryor, Jaiden Black, Skyleigh Black, Gunner Pryor, Eric Pryor, Kinsley Pryor, Braylon Sullivan, Brynna Sullivan-Pryor and Ashley Walker (Nick); her great grandchildren, Cole and Hunter Smartt; and her sisters, Doris Morgan and Maedena Collins. She is also survived by several extended family members and a host of friends.
