She was predeceased by : her parents, Frank Doc Davis and Sadie Colston Davis; her husband Reverend Ed Thompson; and her sisters, Gladys Middleton and Loretta Castleberry.
She is survived by : her sons, John Thompson (Linda) of Soddy Daisy, TN and Frank Thompson (Roxie) of Trenton, GA; her siblings, Jim Davis (Sharon) of Pelham, AL and Velma Allen of Texas; her grandchildren, Kenny Thompson, Kelli, Chris Bell, Tyler and Allison Thompson; and her great grandchildren, Gage, Gavin Bell, Ruby Jane, Tessa and John Tyler Thompson.
