He was predeceased by: his parents, John Simpson and Lois Levina Belcher Giles. He is survived by: his wife Julie Diane Jackson Giles; his children, Shirley Releford (William), Lynn Weathers (Timmy) and Robby Giles (Daisy); his grandchildren, Ashley Murphy (John), Jherica Venable (Blake), Hunter Weathers (Hannah), Hope Ciganek (Anthony) and Halle Giles; his great grandchildren, Michael, Zoey, Marley, Carley, Grayson, Jason, Harper and Maxwell; his siblings, Sue Williams, Benita Young, Marie Jackson, Jennifer Graham (John), Geraldine "Tuddie" Chambers, Henry Giles (Diane) and Gary Giles (Karen); and his brother-in-law Gary West. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 13th 2025 at 1:00 PM and from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Corner Stone Funeral Chapel (40 Cornerstone Dr, Ider, AL 35981).
