It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Opal Stone Foster of Trenton, Georgia, who passed away on May 13, 2026, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy Stone and Ruby Stone; her husbands, Joe Brown, Jerry Long and Ralph Foster; and her daughter Charlotte Brown.
She is survived by: her children, JoAnn Greer (Peter) of Trenton and Ed Long (Shonda) of Trenton; her grandchildren, Tristen Butler (Jared), Jordan Long (Alea), Erik Long, Avery Butler and Katie Long; her great grandchildren, Layla Long, Max Long, Olive Kanady and Lona Long; and her brother Leroy Stone (Della). She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and a host of cousins and friends.
