He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Thomas and Lillie Thomas; his wife Maxine Thomas; and his siblings, Lloyd, Troy, Olen, Granville, L. M. Thomas, Earline Womack, Idell Brown, Thelma Cook and Shelby Hicks.
He is survived by: his daughter Karen Jeanine; his son-in-law Dennis Thomas; his pet Cooper; his niece Kay Blevins (Rodney); and his close friends, Hershel and Sybil Chapman. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
