He is survived by: his wife Linda Tingler Hurst (Quick); his son Douglas Hurst (Angela); his grandchildren, Alex Moon, Sara Moon Welden (Dustin), Isabella Hurst and Ana Sofia Hurst; his great grandchildren, McKenzie Welden and Carter Welden; his sister Barbara McDaniel; and his sister-in-law Carol Gardner. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
