Though Darnell may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Vay Sparks and Edgel Sparks; her husband Joseph Amico; and her sons, Joseph Amico and Tony McKeehan.
She is survived by: her son Ronald McKeehan (Jenna). She is also survived by 4 grandchildren; and 4 great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, October 7th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Mason Funeral Home (320 GA-48, Summerville, GA 30747). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, October 7th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, October 7th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Greenhill Memory Gardens.
