She was predeceased by: her parents, Dewey Mitchell and Susie Rodgers Mitchell; her husband Jimmy David Brown; her siblings, D. C. Mitchell, Jr., Glenn Mitchell, Orleane Miller and Betty Powell; and her daughter-in-law Cindy Campbell Brown.
She is survived by: her children, Jimmy Scott Brown and Michelle Reynolds; her brothers, Larry Mitchell (Linda) and Malcolm Mitchell (Carol); her grandchildren, Jessica Brown Grimes, Mashell Brown (Travis), Dustin Reynolds and Josh Reynolds; and her sister-in-law Jean Mitchell. She is also survived by several great-grandchildren.
