He was predeceased by: his parents, Glenn Payton, Sr. and Hattie Tudor Payton; and his siblings, Mary Jo Payton, Lenora Culver, John Payton, Sidney Payton, Billy Payton and Glen Payton, Jr..
He is survived by: his wife Norma Jean Littlejohn Payton; his daughter Sandra; his son-in-law Charles Patterson; his sons, Michael (Kaye Payton) and Charles "Bo" (Ginger Payton); his siblings, Glenda DeBerry, Carolyn (Stan Cooper), Deborah (David Brown) and Larry; and his sister-in-law Karen Payton. He is also survived by seven grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews.
