He is survived by: his wife Sharon D. Hurst; his children, Jay Hurst, Todd Hurst (Christopher Finch), Denise (Ricky Bruce), Pam Hurst, Kelly (Tommy Young, Jr.) and Audrey Hurst; his sister Glenda; his brother-in-law Ronald Swader; his brother Ricky Hurst; and his grandchildren, Ross Bruce, Jonathan Bruce, Justin Lewis, Dewayne Daggett, William Hurst, Latasha Hines, Aleigha Young and Karter Brown. He is also survived by 22 great grandchildren, and a number of nieces and nephews.
