He was predeceased by: his parents, James Howell Dalton and Bernice Potter Dalton; his wife Janice Marie Dalton; his sons, Robbie and Chris Dalton; his grandchildren, Rob Dalton, Jr. and Brianna Dalrymple; and his siblings, Mary Ruth Causby, Jane DeBerry, Lorene Frost Boswell and Charles Frost.
He is survived by: his stepmother Jewell Dalton; his son Randy Dalrymple, Jr.; his daughter-in-law Tracy; his daughter Deb Stowe; his siblings-in-law, Ronald and Gail Crouch; his grandchildren, Chase Pursley, Samantha, Keina Jackson and Logan Pinion; and his great grandchildren, Koda Pursley and Addie Jackson. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Monday, November 2nd 2026 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Coffman Funeral Home (12855 US Hwy 27, Summerville, GA 30747). A funeral service will be held on Monday, November 2nd 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
