He was predeceased by: his father R. Dural Fortner; his significant other James "Buddy" Floyd; and his grandparents, Tommy, Eva Mae Henderson, Leon and Kate Fortner.
He is survived by: his mother Nadine Henderson Fortner; his sister Debbie; his brother-in-law Daryl Murdock; his nieces, Jennifer Cox, Jessica Ivey (Adam) and Rachel Bryan; his aunt Linda Kay; his uncle Waymon Fincher; and his cousin Michael David Chastain (Jennifer). He is also survived by many great-nephews, great-niece, additional family members, and friends.
