It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Edgar Seth Childs Jr. (Tucker, Georgia), born in Nashville, Tennessee, who passed away on June 11, 2024, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Edgar Childs Sr. and Elizabeth Childs; his daughter Cynthia; and his brother James A. Childs. He is survived by: his wife Angel Childs; his children, Kevin (Veronica), Gwendolyn (Burney), Sierra, Angie, Arnold, Larresa, Laquita (Quinton), Victoria and Darius; his siblings, Regina Childs, Shirley Carpenter, Kenneth (Tennie) and Dennis; and his sister-in-law Patricia Childs. He is also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
