He was predeceased by: his wife Barbara Beckwith Vaughn; his sister Doris Mullinax; and his parents, Hubert Ellis Vaughn and Marjorie Yarbrough Vaughn. He is survived by: his sister Kaye Bentley; his children, Karen Barber and Michael Vaughn; and his grandchildren, Blake Vaughn and Karli Barber.
