She was predeceased by: her parents, Albio Goicoechea and Alicia Goicoechea. She is survived by: her husband Ralph Caraballo; her daughters, Luz, Isabelle, Veronica and Barbara Caraballo; her sister Lucrecia Gutierrez; her nephews, Pedro Gutierrez (Corinne) and Carlos Gutierrez (Scott); her grandchildren, Eben, Mya, Sahid, Alyah and Laura; and her pets, Lucy and Stella.
Visitation was held on Saturday, June 7th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Floral Hills Funeral Home & Cremation (3150 Lawrenceville Hwy, Tucker, GA 30084). A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, June 7th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Holy Cross Catholic Church (3773 Chamblee Tucker Rd, Atlanta, GA 30341).
Donations in memory of Ofelia can be made to St.Jude's Hospital and the American Cancer Society of Atlanta.
