He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Winegar and Jean Winegar. He is survived by: his wife Kathy Winegar; his children, James Stuck, Matthew Winegar and Kari Leadingham; his son-in-law David Leadingham (Teddy); his sister Jill Whelchel; his brother-in-law Howard Whelchel; and his grandchildren, Levi Leadingham and Blaklee Stuck. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
