He was predeceased by: his wife Eva Watkins Jackson. He is survived by: his children, Sherry Jean Rittenhouse (Donnie) and Anthony Ray Jackson; his siblings, Robert Jackson, Mary Payne, Connie Wiley and Anita Wimpey; his grandchildren, Jennifer Sloan (Chris) and David Yaeger (Tiffany Pendergrass); his great grandchildren, Samuel Linder (Anna), Marcus Worley, Mackenzie, Marlee, Owen Yaeger, Austin and Amy Sloan; and his brother-in-law Wendell Waters. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Monday, December 8th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Jones Funeral Home (3665 Chattanooga Rd, Tunnel Hill, GA 30755). A funeral service was held on Monday, December 8th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
