She is survived by: her children, Rose Ellen Powell Lakes, Mike Miracle (Lynne), Stephen Miracle (Karen) and Jennifer Hughes (Wesley); her grandchildren, Chase Hughes, Cayla Hughes, Wyatt Miracle (Megan), Chad Flanders (Julie) and Virginia Flanders; her great grandchild Phoebe Lyn Flanders; her siblings, John S. Lakes and Edith Richardson; and her sister-in-law Nancy Brown. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and other extended family.
Visitation will be held on Friday, September 25th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, September 26th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the W. L. Wilson & Sons Funeral Home-Ft. Oglethorpe Chapel (555 Cloud Springs Rd, Ft. Oglethorpe, GA 30742). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
