We are sad to announce that on April 20, 2025, at the age of 87, Sara Ann Griggs of Tunnel Hill, Georgia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Grady Hamrick and Naomi Charles Hamrick; her husband David W. Griggs; her daughter-in-law Melinda Kay Griggs; her brothers-in-law, Ray Dixon and Joe Desalvo; and her sibling's children, Samantha Jackson, Shelda Kinnmon and Eddie Cooper.
She is survived by: her children, David F. Griggs and Schueuretha Ramirez (Jose Ramirez Luna); her grandchildren, Stephanie Rae Griggs, Kristin Blackmon, Candace Kirk (Ryan), William Daniel (Brandy), Sarah Todd (Aaron) and Carmen Todd; her siblings, Samuel Hamrick (Shirley), Barbara Dixon and Eloise Desalvo; her nephews, Kenneth Carroll (Kim) and Michael Johnson; and her close friend Caron D. Cobb. She is also survived by seven great-grandchildren.
