John touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Iva J. Turner and Ila Mae Daniels Turner; his wife Betty Cannady Turner; and his brother James Earl Turner. He is survived by: his children, Randy Turner of Twin City, Ricky Turner (Margaret) of Twin City and Marilyn Turner of Twin City; his sister Charlene Oglesby of Statesboro; his grandchildren, Andria Andrews (Brett) of Evans and Trent Turner (Riley) of Milton; his great grandchildren, Mary Sydney Andrews, Peyton Seitz (Jackson), Tegan Lynn Turner and Asten Rae Turner; and his great great grandchild Paxton Parker.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 7th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the First Baptist Church of Twin City (212 S College St, Twin City, GA 30471). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, December 7th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Sunday, December 7th 2025 at the Hebron Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery (212 S College St, Twin City, GA 30471).
