He was predeceased by: his parents, Virgil Hartz and Clara McGrath Hartz. He is survived by: his wife Valerie Craven Hartz; his children, Wolfgang Hartz and Jessie Rose Hartz of Tybee Island; and his sister Linda Wolfe. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service was held on Thursday, May 8th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Greenwich Cemetery (330 Greenwich Rd, Savannah, GA 31404).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests remembrances be made to A.A., or a local food bank.
