He was predeceased by: his parents, Timothy Maroney and Gladys Maroney. He is survived by: his wife Charlene Hartigan Maroney of Savannah; his sons, Craig Maroney (Jill) of Rockland, Adam Maroney (Joni) of Alpharetta and Todd Maroney (Jeanna) of Independence, Kentucky.; his grandchildren, Camryn, Kevin, Meredith and Erin; and his brothers, Ronald, Timothy and Steven. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A funeral Mass was held on Thursday, October 1st 2026 at 11:00 AM at the St. Michael's Catholic Church (802 Lovell Ave, Tybee Island, GA 31328).
