It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Maria E. Green (Tybee Island, Georgia), who passed away on July 4, 2024, at the age of 66, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Maria E. Green to pay them a last tribute.

Though Maria may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Maria touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Wilfredo Rodriguez and Mercedes Rodriguez. She is survived by: her husband Steve Green; her daughter Madison; her son-in-law Alex Salzillo; her granddaughters, Silia, Sadie and Sarah; and her brother Willie Rodriguez.

Maria held many causes close to her heart, and in lieu of flowers, remembrances in her memory may be made to her favorite charitable organization, P.A.C.K. (People of Action Caring for Kids), or to the Nancy B. Lewis Cancer Center, in appreciation of the excellent care that she received from all of the physicians and staff.
