He was predeceased by: his wife Melody Scales Fulkerson; his parents, Ernest Fulkerson and Bonnie Beasley Fulkerson; and his brother Danny Rae Fulkerson. He is survived by: his siblings, Larry, Sylvia, Michelle and Jeff; his sons, Michael Jr. (Rebecca) and Mark (Ellen); his grandchildren, Michaela, Gabrielle, Emma, Christina, Zoe and Zachary; and his great grandchildren, Henry, Charlie, Sanford and Melody. He is also survived by several loving nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Michael's honor to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
