It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jimmy W. McDaniel of Unadilla, Georgia, born in Cordele, Georgia, who passed away on June 26, 2025, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Though Jimmy may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Jimmy touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He is survived by: his wife Christine; his stepdaughters, Cathy McDonald, Tina Wood and Linda Woodward; his brother Johnny McDaniel; and his brothers-in-law, Tommy Hughes and Bud Kemp. He is also survived by several step-grandchildren, step-great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 28th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Brannen-NeSmith Funeral Home - Unadilla (1121 Borum St, Unadilla, GA 31091). A graveside service will be held on Saturday, June 28th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the Sunnyside Cemetery.
