He was predeceased by: his parents, J. T. Thompson and Jeanette Thompson of Unadilla; and his grandparents, Sam, Rena Layfield, Jessie and Maggie Thompson.
He is survived by: his daughters, Ansley Scarborough (Cal) and Karli Ray; his siblings, David Thompson and Jan Hamrick (Wyndell); his nephew Johnathan Hamrick; and his niece Jana Smith (Ken).
