It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James B. Andrews of Union City, Georgia, who passed away on April 28, 2022, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, S. W. Andrews and Delia Andrews; his former life partner Frances; and his siblings, Vernon Ishmael, Thomas Herschel, Ernest Eugene, William Russell, Martha Lorene Green, Geneva Lois Hutchison, Walter Jr., Dorothy Alice Taylor, Reese Selby, Charles Dean and David Earl.

He is survived by : his wife Shirley Andrews of Union City, GA; and his sons, James Andrews of Healdsburg, CA and Gary Andrews of Stockbridge, GA..

“Gary/James So sorry to hear your great dad, "Mr. Andy" to me, has passed on to a better place where there is no sorrow and no tears. I hope you guys are doing well and find comfort in the amazing life he lived. I can assure you, he was a man that commanded respect when he walked the halls of the TOC and if you were fortunate to know him as I did, you were always greeted with a big smile that made you feel special. I love you guys and mourn with you in (y)our loss.”
