He was predeceased by : his parents, Seth Clark and Mary Cleo Gibby Dingler; his siblings, Mildred Dingler Stewart, Charles James, Seth Davis and Robert Lee Dingler; and his son-in-law Ronnie Lee Murphy.

He is survived by : his wife Priscilla Edwards Dingler; his daughters, Priscilla Anne Dingler Murphy and Donna Kaye Dingler; and his brothers, John Alexander Dingler of North Augusta and William Richard Dingler. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and numerous friends.

The family requests that any memorials be made to Bethel Baptist Church or Masonic Lodge Chappell #511.
