She was predeceased by : her parents, Lillian Howard Moon and Blanche Ogletree Moon; her son Howell Alexander Worthen; her former life partner Howell Worthen; her husband Milton Meadows of Union Point; her son Anthony "Tony" Worthen; her brothers, Fred Moon, Larry Moon and Lennie Moon; and her pet Candy.

She is survived by : her children, Yalonde Tanner (Hugh) of Covington, GA, Julie Davenport (Darren) of Greensboro, GA and David Meadows of Union Point, GA; her sisters, Dean Mansfield and Patricia Adams; her grandchildren, Alex Stonecipher (Jenny), Hiliary Conn (Billy), Karlea Tanner, Spencer Tanner Cliff Worthen (Hunter), Megan Worthen, Natalie Chastain Davenport and Victoria Davenport; and her pet Gilbert. She is also survived by ten great-grandchildren, many other relatives and friends.
