In the sacred silence of farewell, Peggy is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. And as her memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Peggy's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Louis Clayton Stewart and Martha Dean Stewart; her husband Roy English; and her sister Barbara Norris. She is survived by: her children, James "Jim" English (Michelle) of Nicholson, GA and Jennifer Adkins of Madison, GA; her granddaughter Taylor English of Athens, GA; and her sister Becky Wilkes (Rusty) of Watkinsville, Georgia. She is also survived by numerous other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 from 1:30 PM to 3:00 PM at the Callaway Funeral Home (208 N Rhodes St, Union Point, GA 30669). A graveside service will be held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Greenlawn Cemetery (1451 N Rhodes St, Union Point, GA 30669).
