It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Althea Joan Walters of Uvalda, Georgia, born in Baldwin, Michigan, who passed away on March 28, 2023, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her husband Joe R. Walters; and her parents, Jack Brandow and Laura Elaine Welch. She is survived by : her children, Edward John Michaels, Steven Michaels and April Lynn Michaels; her sister Doris "Dodie" Walters (Clyde); and her sister-in-law Kathy Hauner of Uvalda. She is also survived by several grandchildren, nieces, nephews and other relatives.
