We announce the death of Alvin Hitchcock (Uvalda, Georgia), who passed away on August 11, 2026, at the age of 75. Alvin will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Hitchcock and Rosa Lee Barnes Hitchcock; and his brother Gene Dees. He is survived by: his wife Kaye Kirkley Hitchcock; his children, Rodney Hitchcock (Angie) of Cedar Crossing, Cissy Hitchcock Riner (Dwayne) of Vidalia and Dwayne Page of Cedar Crossing; his brothers, Wayne Dees (Betty) of Lyons and Roy Hitchcock (Linda) of Cedar Crossing; his grandchildren, Ashley Brown (Luke) of Cedar Crossing, Brooke James (Tyler) of Lyons, Madison Hitchcock of Lyons, Hunter Hitchcock of Cedar Crossing, Jadon Riner of Vidalia and Marle Riner of Vidalia; and his great grandchildren, Wyatt James, Anna Grace James and Alaina Brown. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
