She was predeceased by : her former life partner Douglas Culp; her parents, Vallie Collins and Gladys Thomas Collins; and her brothers, Mack Collins and Clarence Collins.

She is survived by : her daughters, Bridgette Nusall (Robert) of New Branch and Sonia Culp of Reidsville; her grandchildren, Brooke Nusall, Taylor Culp Griffin (Tristan), Cole Nusall and Kaden Fincher; and her siblings, Bonnie Collins Powell of New Branch, Sandra Collins Mosley of Reidsville, Ann Collins Smith (Richard) of New Branch and Bill Collins of South Carolina.
