He was predeceased by : his parents, Robert Hiram Mobley and Marjorie "Mitzi" Mattox Mobley. He is survived by : his wife Rebecca "Becky" Brantley Mobley of Uvalda; his children, Anna Mobley Gilbert (Matthew) of Uvalda and Matt Mobley (Hollie) of Vidalia; his grandchildren, Jesslyn Phillips, Thomas Gilbert, Fisher Mobley, Ivan Gilbert and Cullen Mobley; and his brother Robert Hiram "Bobby" Mobley (LaVerne) of Higgston.
