James Robert Barnes Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James Robert Barnes of Uvalda, Georgia, who passed away on April 19, 2023 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including : his parents, Alline Barnes and Clifford Barnes; his siblings, C. L., Vera, Bernice, Madeline and Janice; his nephew Matthew; his wife Barbara Barnes; his son Chris Barnes (Tinker); his grandchildren, Randall Barnes (Danielle) and Christi Gilman (David); and his great-niece Sandi Copeland. He was also cherished by daughter; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
Despite his demanding job, James remained actively involved in serving his community through charity work and gospel outreach as a Gideon.
