He was predeceased by: his parents, Jim Paul Gordy, Sr. and Evelyn Mosley Daniel; and his siblings, Martha Nell Gordy Powell, Helen Gordy Kirkland, Faye Gordy Tyson, Ron Gordy and Billy Gordy.
He is survived by: his son Chris Gordy, Sr. (Kristy); his grandchildren, Chris Gordy, Jr. and Nicole Gordy; his siblings, Ann Gordy Alchian (Allen), Robert Gordy (Sue), Michael Gordy (Jennie) and Wallace Gordy (Leanne); and his great grandchildren, Gabriel, Youlia, Braylon, Chase and Jayde. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 23rd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Cedar Crossing Baptist Church (2926 Cedar Crossing Rd, Uvalda, GA 30473). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 23rd 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
