We bid farewell to Mackie Lawrence of Uvalda, Georgia, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on November 23, 2025 at the age of 76. Mackie touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her husband Sylvester Lawrence; her children, Katie Lawrence and Jackie Lawrence; and her parents, Charlie Paul Barwick and Katie Gillis Barwick.
She is survived by: her daughter Ashley Lawrence (Lamar) of Lyons; her sister Cheryl Barwick Waters (Glenn) of Douglas; and her grandchildren, Tami Gonzalez of Lyons, Javier Gonzalez of Lyons, Deanna Gonzalez of Lyons, Cristian Ramos of Lyons, Lax Tobler of Lyons, Toni Poole of Wheeler County and Jerry Poole of Vidalia. She is also survived by four great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
