He is survived by: his wife Mary Jane DeVane Washnock of Valdosta; his son Tony Washnock of Ozark; his stepdaughters, Lara (Rob Buffaloe) of Roswell, GA. and Leslie (Trey Sherwood); his grandchildren, Abbie Clark, Julia Sherwood, Elizabeth Buffaloe, Anna Buffaloe and JW LaCoste; his siblings, David (Kay Washnock) and Ann; his brother-in-law David Platt of Benton, LA.; and his nephews, John Washnock and James Washnock.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Hospice of South Georgia or First Methodist Church.
