He was predeceased by : his parents, Charles Morris Powers, Sr. and Eleanor Lilly Powers. He is survived by : his wife Jerry McGoogan Powers of Valdosta; his son Charles Morris Powers, III of Hiawassee, GA; and his grandchildren, Eleanor Powers of Athens and David Charles Chamberlain (Samantha McLoughlin) of Atlanta.
A graveside service was held on Saturday, April 20th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Oak Hill Cemetery.
