He was predeceased by: his parents, Leon Parker and Jessie Mae Parker; and his son Kenneth Parker. He is survived by: his wife Jan Parker of Valdosta; his children, Stacey Deland (Robin) of Albany, GA, Tara Spivey (James) of Valdosta, GA and Brad Henningfeld (Jennifer) of Doerun, GA; his brother Tom Parker (Mary) of Montgomery, AL; and his grandchildren, Christian Deland, Danielle Oliveira (Anthony) and James Spivey.
