She was predeceased by: her father Robert Lloyd Hicks; and her husband Michael J. Blackburn. She is survived by: her children, Melissa Powers of Valdosta and Matthew Dow Jones of Valdosta; and her grandsons, Shawn Powers, Colby Powers and Chad Ericson.
