It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dwight G. McDougal of Valdosta, Georgia, who passed away on September 21, 2025, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Louise McDougal and Johnny Lee Jones Sr.; and his siblings, L. C. McDougal, Johnny Jones Jr. and Ouiga McDougal.
He is survived by: his daughter April Louise McDougal; his grandson Terrius McDougal; his great grandchildren, Veshawn McDougal, William McDougal and Asa McDougal; his siblings, Larry McDougal, Marjorie Jones and Darlene Carter (Allen); his stepmother Barbara Jones; his former wife Elaine Monnier; his children, Uganda Johnson and Maurice Brown; and his nephews, Demetrius Jones, Larry McDougal Jr., Travis McDougal and DJ McDougal.
