He is survived by: his wife Connie Syford of Valdosta, GA; his daughters, Laurie Rowell (Gene) of Valdosta, GA and Cindie Raulerson (Gary) of Gaylesville, AL; his grandchildren, Lauren Thomas (Clay) of Valdosta, GA, Eugene Rowell III (Emily) of Valdosta, GA, Madison White (Evan) of Valdosta, GA, Joshua Rowell (Reagan) of Valdosta, GA, Caleb Raulerson (Flora) of East Elmhurst, NY and Breanne Bryant (Alexander) of Colorado Springs, CO; his great grandchildren, Lauralynn Thomas, Trent Thomas, Maddilynn Thomas, Calvin Thomas, Pierce Thomas, Grant Thomas, Ella Rowell, Vivian Rowell, Eugene Rowell IV, Whitley White, John Evan White, Josie Rowell, Joshua Rowell Jr. and Miles Bryant; his brother Harvey Cumbie III; and his siblings-in-law, Tom and Jean Derenthal.
