He was predeceased by: his former wife Mary Tiencken; and his daughter Georgeanne. He is survived by: his wife Marie Rice Thomas; his son William Thomas (Eduvige) of Jacksonville; his grandchildren, Geoffrey Thomas (Kayla), Kevin Thomas and Ashley King; his great grandchildren, Grayson, Nora Leigh Thomas and Atticus Faulkner; and his siblings-in-law, Eurith Rice (LaVell) of Newnan, Martha McLaine, Susan King, Margaret Walker (James) of Homerville and Katie Rice of DuPont. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.
